Dishes with a flat bottom, like cookie sheets, casserole dishes or Pyrex dishes, make excellent containers for your living greens.
Simply remove from clamshell and place in the dish with a small amount of water. Microgreens can be kept on the counter or in the fridge. Note: For fridge storage, be sure to keep in the front of fridge to avoid freezing leaves. |
Our microgreens are alive, and while they do not need light, they do need water to keep the roots moist. In order to get you the most bang for your buck, we plant hundreds of micros on each pad. Therefore, watering should be from the side of the micros, never directly on top of them. Watering on top can potentially cause mold issues. Water once every day or every other day. The pad should feel heavy and moist. If the pads are sticking to the plate or container, they are too dry.
